Why We Built This Site
Oregon provides public access to many court and government records, but the correct access point in Marion County depends on the record. Circuit Court case files are handled by the Marion County Circuit Court Records Department in Salem. The County Clerk handles recorded documents, marriage licensing, archives, elections, and passports. The Sheriff's Office maintains jail custody information, while Justice Court and municipal courts handle some local traffic, ordinance, small claims, and citation matters.
This site brings those routes together in one local reference. It distinguishes court case files from county-recorded documents, jail booking data, traffic citations, marriage records, divorce judgments, probate files, and warrant-related court questions.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to Marion County Circuit Court, the Marion County Clerk, the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Oregon Judicial Department, or any federal court. There are real limits to what a private reference site can provide:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on anyone's behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, or recorded documents
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how Oregon law applies to a specific case
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, portal status, or office procedure is current at the moment of use
Only the issuing Oregon court or Marion County government office can provide an official certified copy or make a binding records decision.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and operate their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the reference pages available. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
